It's been reported that the NPD Group isn't expected to publish its August game industry sales breakdown for at most another couple of weeks, however Electronic Arts is already touting Madden 25 coins as the month's top sales performer. Based on internal data, EA claims Madden NFL 25 was the no. top-selling video game sold within North America during August, and sales across all platforms up by about 5 percent year-on-year.

EA has not provided specific figures on sales for any version available in Madden NFL 25, which was released on gamers on Xbox 360, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5, PSP, Wii, and iPhone on August 10. But, Madden NFL 25 sold 1.9 million units in August 2022. This was an amount that included versions for PSP, Xbox 360 and Wii. Xbox 360, PS5, PS5, PSP, and Wii.

EA has also announced that its digital revenues in Madden NFL 25 increased by 200 percent over the previous year. Some examples of content that is that are currently available includes"One More Year" bonus, which allows players to keep their job for an additional year "One Additional Year" bonus which prevents an active player from having to retire for a second time and "Skilled medical Staff," which confers the player with a 10-percent chance to avoid injuries and improving recovery times. EA also launched the Online Pass initiative in May that requires owners of used games to buy access to the online mode of the game.

The increase in sales is likely to be a welcome relief for EA after the disappointing performance for Madden NFL 25. In September of last year, EA CEO John Riccitiello expressed his disappointment with its performance, despite the game's opening of nearly 2 million units. "It is disappointing that one of the highest rating and most well-marketed Madden titles of recent times is now facing a lot of headswinds,"" Riccitiello said.

In addition to highlighting Madden NFL 25's success, EA also took the occasion to unveil Madden coins for sale Superstars which is a new game in the series specifically designed for the social gaming platform Facebook. The game was created in conjunction with the latest EA purchase of Playfish, Madden NFL Superstars is a simulation game for teams where Facebook players can create an entire roster of more than 1,500 active players, and then put their team together against their friends.
